The BnM is nice as the Wally stick or better , just a quick fyi
been looking for a 7ft rod with some backbone and better sensitivity, i currently have the 7ft wallly marshall signature series orange rod i bought 2 yrs ago and also got the wally marshall 6ft pro series white rod, where i fish the water is very seldom like glass always a little wind and slightly choppy. with these 2 rods i can cast light lures, but it's when i am slowly retrieving i don't feel the tick bite ect, i feel the bite 100% better with the 6 1/2ft ACC crappie rod, one member here suggested the Wally Marshall 7ft Speed shooter, some say the tip eye is very small and since i tie the uni knot braid to fluoro leader, Slabprowler has this rod and loves it as far as sensitivity goes, he is going to tie a uni and let me know if the rod will cast the uni knot thru the tip eye with no issues. so i called Wally Marshall to try to find out about 2 other rods no answer, maybe someone has hands on experience with the other 2 i am trying to find out about. wally marshall has 2 other rods one is the Classic and the other is the Pro Target, i want to stay at 7ft. so the question is are these 2 new rods have any better back bone or increased sensitivity over the Speed shooter.

The 6.5 BnM Leyland is a great lil rod with backbone. Some folks don’t like the long handle but it’s my preference. I have Speed Shooters and really like em.

The speed shooter from Wally Marshall does not have better sensitivity or backbone. It is an entry level fishing pole.

I got in contact with Mr Marshall today, we discussed the rod choices i inquired about, the Speed shooter, vs the classic and the Pro target models, he did say the Speed shooter has more backbone than the other 2, but did say the pro target is more sensitive and it is a lighter rod. not the backbone as the speed shooter, he did say he also likes the Classic series in 7 1/2 ft

I have 2 of the wally marshal speed shooter rods. I have no trouble casting a rubber bobbers stop through the tip eye so you should be able to cast the uni know with no problem.

Wally has some good stuff but the Sam Heaton 7' super sensitive is my go to for casting, jigging and sick shooting. Good backbone and can feel everything. ACC is good, too but first one I grab is the Sam Heaton.
