Pretty good for a quick evening trip, but the heat really puts a dent in the fun factor.

have not dipped a jig after the sun went away in a good while , was typical to other spots though as right when it got really dark they were gone .....
there always seems to be a rock and roll thing going on in the twilight and then it gets solid dark and POOF they are gone ....
I imagine they leave there resting areas and head off to the local hunting grounds , not totally sure , the really bright light that came on inside the dock had about a zillion fry fish show up on the surface right above a condo I placed in that spot and a young kitty and a plum worn out old kitty fish under them and a few small crappie, before the sun said good night for the day ....
about 15 minutes after total dark , there was not a bite to be had by anything ....
such was a quick dip of the jig in the wee light, we was just there to work and wet our jigs before we left ,you know just to make sure we wasn't sitting on top of some big ole barn doors ,,,,,
not much KABOOM for sure .....
