Default Terribly SLOW wuz da crappie ketchn ....

But the good news is the other hundred and fifty assorted plaything fisheez kept us focused on ketchn father's day fisheez .....
We actually was just playing around and managed a few crappie , they wasn't actually being targeted ,,,,all fish were on our list of who and what is next ....
So why do we always wear boots in Texas you might ask yourself , because we have lots of things that bite ,sting and poke ya and a lesser foot apparel will leave you with a painful injury in many cases .....
It is odd to see a scorpion in the daylight and to be sure my wife said "hey look at this big ugly scorpion walking around over here !"
We got see deer and a group of whistling tree ducks and the other assorted wildlife types of critters , collected a few water bottles full of grasshoppers for our chickens and avoided the Texas sun whenever possible .
In the end "some" crappie gave a us a pull and the day was about as good as it gets .
The crappie were really shallow in one spot for whatever reason with some bass and large bluegill , the food source attracting them was never identified
Wife used only the little jewel 10 foot BnM rod .
    KABOOM was us ,,,,and,,,,
hope everyone had a nice father's day too ....
