They're strong enough for both...
Wondering if the R-100 is strong enough to pull/push crankbaits? I’m assuming they are not strong enough for catfish though?

Thank you Mack. I’m setting up a new to me boat with no rod holders and never used T bars of any style. I figured they where good for pulling just wanted to hear it from someone.

They are strong enough for just about anything. I have had 14ft rods get hung up and I worry the rod is going to break before I get to it but never the rod holder. My only issue with them is they do wobble regardless of how tight you have them screwed down. Or at least mine do. Your mileage may differ.
Absolutely, they are top quality IMHO

I haven't begin to pull cranks (well only pulled 2 cranks on 1 trip), but mine have been great and haven't broke with all the things I hang up on. I'm certain I hung up 4 poles in the ghost tree a few weeks ago.
