    Did the same thing when I built my 18' Mod V. Put closed cell foam in between the ribs then put an aluminum floor over top of that, along with the bilge pump and 1 1/8 line.

    we love spray and white caps when it hits 100 here in Texas, sure makes for a pleasant boat ride when it's about stupid hot and windy , just saying
