    Default Fillet knife

Looking for a good fillet knife, any suggestions. I got a 12 volt but looking for a regular knife. Thanks Danny Lang

Lots of folks rave over the Dexter brand fillet knives. I have a wood handled Rapala that works well and Dalstrong that I rarely use on fish.

I have a variety of fillet knives, including a selection of Dexter's and they would not be my first choice for cleaning a mess of panfish.
I've recently picked up an inexpensive Betts Billy Bay knife based on a previous thread in this forum and am quite pleased with it. Haven't had to sharpen it yet so don't know how it will take an edge when it comes time to touch it up.
I also like the very thin bladed common Rapala's, both 4 and 6". Not expensive, can find them most anywhere, and they take an edge easily and are easy to touch up.
Personally, I think a 6" is a good all around size for panfish.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

Check out the Danco filet knives. I have 2 of them. They work for me.

I have several wooden handled Rapalas that work well. Also Berkley and a custom hand made knife . All work good if kept sharp .

Rada. I have Rapala and they are a distant second. Make great steak knives too.
