Wow that catch is very rare even in lakes known for giants; my brother has fished all his life here, has won many bass tournaments, and even though the 10# mark is broken several times a year,he has never caught one. One day I hooked a 13" crappie under a platform, and a bass the size of yours took a run and swipe at my crappie! The only 10# bass I ever caught was caught after accidentally snagging a shad, so before I removed it,I lowered it to the bottom, and it was sucked in by this giant bass who must have been lying on the bottom in 20ft of water eating only easy shad.

Awesome! Crazy what happens and what will bite a tiny and huge lure at times. I was fishing in my pond the other day for bluegill using a tiny fly popper and caught a 6 pounder.
have always loved the white beetle spin..congrats!!
Awesome!!
