    To catch a fish that big while bass fishing is amazing, but while crappie fishing, on light gear/line... wow!

    I wholeheartedly agree, LM .... best I've done is a ~5-6lb Largemouth on 4lb line on a 5' UL outfit. Well, there was that one time I caught a 12lb Tiger Muskie on 4# mono on a 6' UL El Cheapo rod w/plastic reel (blister pack Wally World special)

    But, I'da had a heart attack if I caught a Bass that big .... on ANY tackle !!
