Got Stuck in the Car Wash Today.........

Anyway, you just can't make this stuff up. I'm back from the Rez, going thru the car wash to clean all the bugs & stuff off the truck that collected during the road trip. Well right before the big Blowers and tire shine but past the ceramic polish I stop progressing. Sitting there wondering why, I start seeing heads moving around the equipment towards me from behind. While being observant I noticed something sticking up in front but to the side of my pickup. An employee makes it to the stickup, lifts it up to show me what it is, it's 1/2 of a panfish rod & reel. The butt end to be exact. The pickup in front of me had fishing poles in the bed of his truck when he went in. Pieces of rods and monofilament line was all thru the machinery, I just had to wait. Laughing it off we waved back and forth and I pulled out but didn't leave the exit. I got out and checked my truck very well for rod & reel abuse, all good so I drove home.

Wow. Usually they check to make sure you don't have anything in the bed that could blow out before they let you in

these things that often occur in our daily life are often far too ridiculous to imagine unless you are there .
funny for sure unless you was the guy who forgot your rods and reels were in the back of the truck no doubt .
one thing I have learned many times over the years , the back of my pick up is not a "safe" place

The fish got away in the car wash. I am sure that it had to be caught and still on the hook on that rod and reel and saw his chance for a get away. LOL

My thoughts exactly. You should embellished a bit and said that you saw a crappie trying to swim out of the car wash as you waited to leave!
