Purple……my fish like purple and chartreuse combinations. Purple and pink sometimes.

3 colors matter to me . orange,chart,white ......the rest are just for fun and entertainment

i'm kinda partial to the color combo chart/ black or watermelon/ orange.

BTW, this chubby curl tail didn't do as well yesterday as the smaller body curl tails - even in the color I also like - watermelon:

Interesting though, 1/32 and 1/24 oz jigs were used for the vertical drop last week. Yesterday, 1/16 oz did great in open water 3.5 - 6' deep. The 15 mph wind required a heavier jig for the best into-the-wind casts as well as light strike detection. Heck, I never expected to catch over 40 fish in 6 hours under a bright sun, in a high wind and post new cold front.

I watch your posts and I have read where you stay away from clear lakes in Ark. I understand how you catch so many good quality Crappie. But if you fished clear lakes, your gonna need something besides that 13’ and 2 baits. And you know what I am talking about. I dont think a Feller needs 20 color comb’s but 5-6 works in clear water lakes. Sorry, meant to copy Nimrods above text. I aint caught enough on that purple/char to have a decent fish fry. You just hav to use what works for you where your at

KRW, I agree with you just need 5-6 that works in the waters you fish. Unfortunately, until you find those 5-6 you have a tendacy to take the whole tackle store to find those 5-6...Just sayin'. That came from my ultra-ego...lol
