Great idea. If you want to maximize your storage space or need more room for more rods, alternate the rods with the reels on opposite ends, back and forth and you can fit a whole lot more rods up there.

The ceiling is an often under utilized space. I made these that uses the space above my garage door for tue rod tips. Love them and it gave me more space to buy more rods.
