Default Had an inflatable life jacket inflate in my truck

It was in the back seat. It was perfectly dry. It did reach the mid 80's today. I didn't think they were supposed to be affected by heat. It needed recharged anyway as it was 2 years old. I just thought it was strange or went off without water

This is the original pill. It's sibling went off last year after getting thrown into a damp storage compartment. I could see it going off. This one was in the dry

I am glad it didn't go off when I was driving. It may have been slightly distracting

I had one of mine in the backseat of my truck. My granddaughter was a little too curious and just couldn't not pull that red handle. Needless to say I bought a new pill, My wife insisted on a new storage place, and my granddaughter hasn't bothered anymore fishing equipment. Lol

Just to add to that it is a little bit of a distraction, while driving.

I discharged a fire extinguisher when I was 3 or 4 in the Garage dad and grandpa owned. Dad chased me out the door with the thing. I didn't mess with fire extinguishers until I was an adult.

    Yeah……back then men were allowed.

I would have loved to have been just off to the side watching that mess.
Maybe they will bite this one……

seen a fella racing towards me in his boat one time when he saw me slinging slabs, then the spray over the bow hit his inflatable ....
the ensuing action was one of those things that would have made me some great easy change if I had it on video for sure ...
it about threw him out of the boat when it went off and the look on his face was just priceless as he charged towards my location
