Yep it is so , mini KABOOM says she is now quite officially better than ME at ketchn !
Now is it totally truthful , well it all depends on your perspective I suppose . Mom needed to visit the powder room at my friend's ranch and Mini took over her rod for a few minutes . Mini was just messing around and not really trying to ketch fish that day . Well of course that is often how it goes and then there you have it , she was slinging them like a real deal right fast !
She was on 4 in 4 drops and started in with the typical rhetoric , think I will stop at 7 fish today ! Then at 7 it was maybe around 10 , then at 10 it was ok ok ok , I will stop for sure at 12 .....still went on ....
She then had that look at me thing going on in high fashion and "I am officially better than my dad at this" and to really lay it on , said she always knew she was better as well !
now did I crash the party you might ask , certainly not .....
I let her have her day and she decided since she smoked em , she was going to pick what was for lunch as her award and the good times rolled on .
We actually had a rough start that day and the first 3 water bodies were terribly slow stuff . There was an early turkey calling episode though that went especially well and I got two gobblers to come in within shotgun range really quickly at the first stop .
Let the fish go and to be sure had a grand time , used crappie.com handties I managed to get from a few members and wore my crappie.com ballcap and hoodie ...was quite chilly early on for sure.
About lunch time we had a close encounter with some wild hogs that were within 25 feet or less of the truck sleeping in the shade by a dirt road . It was long day for sure ,but it went about as perfect as a planned day could go .

Thanks for reads , likes , and comments ya”ll , was good times for sure .
We managed around 60 or 70 fish total in a couple of hours , some bass and other sunfish played with us as well .
As my bud SK would say , we moved fast and fished slow.
First 3 spots were tough on us , so we kept moving until we found some decent cooperation at the number 4 water body ...
