    Not sure of weight but l use several B&M Uncle Bucks ultra lite rear reel seat rods and they are almost as lite as a feather.

    Bucks best ultra light by far. BUT it has little to no backbone. I’d stick with the SHSS over the bucks but that’s just me. If all you want is lightweight and not worried about strength, or hookset, ultralight is the way to go
