mind you this , I meant all around the year ,not best plastic in the spring , EVERYTHING is the "best" plastic right now .....

They all will work. The toughest I've used is the Crappie Magnet.

Ketchn...I've caught crappie with the Sparkle Tail in 40 degree water to 80 degree water. Have even seen tube jigs work thru the ice!
LFT (Lake Fork Tackle) baby shad for the win. I also like Bobby Garland baby shad, blue ice baby!! I mainly vertical jig, but have caught em casting too

I only have a few years of crappie fishing under my belt but so far, my most productive plastic is a crappie magnet.
When the crappie are spawning I get up close in shallow water and use a plastic wiffle ball bat in yellow. On days that don't work I like crappie magnet & sliders
