I am not the best single poler out there. I like to, when it is working, but I pull planer boards and fish with my brother who spider rigs. Not the same as single poling, but it catches fish. Just a thought.

Went back today, they were in the same tree tops and still tight lipped. I vertical cast jigs and minnows, fished under a float and cast jigs and Beatle spins. Came away with a knot head bass and a bluegill. Wasn't too disappointed, no one else I talked to caught anything either. We have had three days of high winds, frost on the ground this morning, water temp has gone from 55 to 52. Had a turkey sing to me for about an hour this morning. Good day.

Some days they are hard to do anything with. Any day I got to go and put fish in the boat is a great day in my book. The turkey would certainly be a bonus
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
