    Default Uprising for the Giants.

These giants that they are catching in Granada; are they using bigger artificial lures. Does anyone know if a trend has developed for these giant crappie or are they all being caught on conventional 2" sized lures?

Was at Grenada last week ,most people were spider rigging .Our biggest 3 .75 came on a 2 inch pink and char. 1/16 jig cast at a standing tree . spider rigging minnows work best but caught many casting bright jigs at crappie seen on livescope. I hate spider rigging but it wasn't my boat. Was at bait shop and a man there said he caught a 4.20 and got beat for big crappie in the week end tournament. HE didn't say what he caught it on.

Everything I've caught over 3 lbs in Grenada was either on a ********* jig in bright ******** colors that are ** inches long on a *** oz jig head, or a ******** crankbait ** inches long with a max diving depth of ** feet in both ****** and ****** colors. The ones with the ******* seem to work best.

    Hope this helps.

All big pre spawn females full of eggs... from what I see and hear nothing abnormal used to catch em. With livescope and that many boats they don’t really have anywhere to hide!
