Yes I use Maxima ultra green 4lb in 3000 yard spool, not cheap, but the big spool gets the cost down.

I use Izorline 4lb 3300 yards. Pretty manageable line.
Lots of quality line out there with a lot of different personalities. I’ve been using a store brand from BPS for 15 years or so. The label says offshore angler tight lines. I think it’s about 4000 yards of 4 lb for under ten bucks and has done me well. Also use 6,8, and 10 pound with good results. Used the 6 pound when trolling cranks but had few bottom issues to get hung up on.

if its mono, it has a shelf life for sure and that much line tends to be for the hardcore guys that respool weekly .
that much line might respool a small crappie reel about .....60 times ....

I've had good results with the mr crappie and viscious brands in bulk in 8 and 6 lb. But the BPS store 4 lb not so much. But I have put the first two in water to make them have less memory and havn't done the 4 lb that way, yet. will try that now.
Looking for 4 lb hi vis and didn't see any at BPS any brand where I went thru several of my gift cards yesterday.
4 lb mono seems to remain limp longer than 6 when it gets old , 6 can get down right ugly with age on it .....

The mom and pop bait/tackle store I use a lot has a lot of different line in bulk spools so they are out there. After trying different kinds I’ve settled on 5lb K9 brand braided line. Most of my fishing is vertical jigging in brush so saves a few break offs. Ever find yourself in Wagoner Oklahoma check out Baitmasters, better crappie selection than bass pro including lots of local/ regional jig makers plastic and hair.
