    Default Pulling cranks

I have not tried this yet but plan to. Pulling cranks on 4 poles just using the outboard. Seems it should work fine if you get the speed dialed in. Anybody do this with success?

“G” shared these with all of us and I saved them. Charts for pushing & pulling.

I know its not the same thing but i pull crank baits from my kayak with trolling motor .i hang them over the side and watch to see how they run .when my battery gets weak have to kick er up a notch .i pull several diff lures but the ones that i was slaying with this past summer and fall were bass pro xts 1-1\4 .you can add a in line trolling sinker to get em where you want to .thats just what i do .

Do it all the time but you have to put a trolling plate on your motor to get speed right

    All good tips...thanks.
I usually use the tm but it died. Don't really want to replace it yet. Thought I'd just do the same thing but with the outboard instead.

Size: 71.8 KB. I use this one I like it because it is spring loaded don’t have to let it up an down manually plus I’d forget to raise it if it wasn’t but I’m running it on a pontoon also not saying it’s the best just what suits me best. Put a 125 hours on it last year trolling an it’s still working fine had one on another boat an it did also

I looked at that one but it said it was for 50 hp and up. I have a 40 hp.

I used to pull cranks successfully from a Skeeter bass boat with 150hp. I had to forgive my high performance props and drag a pair of 5 gallon buckets with 1” holes cut in the bottoms. Optimum speed for crappie cranks in warm water is 1.6-2.0mph with Pico INTs.
