I see the Allstar Dock Shooter is still in the lineup. Feels good in the hand. Also has that tough rubber butt cap just perfect for nudging the boat off a dock for a little correction
I often wonder if there is such a thing, wives' often say it is so, but avid fishing folks about almost never.
I did some spring cleaning in my back seat the other day, being on the move constantly my truck is a second home, fully stocked with what will get the job done if need be.
went to grab something from under a pair of insulted bibs and there laid a firetruck, pretty sure my grandson left it there.
Of course my wife said why do you have a firetruck in the back seat ?
Me of course responded this about that .......
to pour water over the reels when I set them on FIRE !
then it occurred to me this about that ....
maybe I have too many rods in my back seat ?

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I only use it to vertical drop most of the time , in tight spots .
sometimes I use it to cast , but it is a bit on the light side if the fish run large .
had a pretty nice crappie man handle me this last week using it .
thunk it was going to get away for sure , but somehow it finally got ketched ......
the one to the left of it is a stout short puppy with braid , it is my go to spring crappie stick on the docks .
it is set up for whale snatching .....

I've only got 40 ... 15 of which are used off & on ... and of those 15 I'll take no more than 6 at a time in the boat, but normally just 3-4 on a normal daytrip. And most times I won't use but one or two of those.
