Default Trolling motors out of stock?

Why aren’t ipilot trolling motors in stock anywhere? If they are where are they? I’m looking for a terrova 55lb or I’d settle for a power drive 55lb

I upgraded to an I-Pilot Ulterra last year and kept my old Maxxium as a backup. I’m not looking to make money on the situation as I prefer to keep my old tm but have been offered almost as much as a new one. The demand is out pacing the supply on new electrical equipment.

I believe it to be a chip problem but it could be a number of things. It took 7 months last year to get an Ulterra.

    There's definitely "a" reason.

Carried one of my Talons to a Minn Kota guy the other day and was talking to him about it. He said he had had no problems getting parts but the new tms were not coming in. Usually 7-10 days on parts and most in stock. Pleasantly surprised about that , since I figured it might take a while for the Talon parts. I ordered an ulterra last year and finally gave up after they kept pushing the backorder date out.

I was looking to get a bigger boat this spring. A new model. They said it would be a two year wait.. Good luck getting your trolling motor.

Was told by my reputable dealer when I had a choice of rebuilding my Ulterra or buying a new one: no TM’s available as they are sent to boat manufacturers/dealers to go on new boat models first. So—just got my Ulterra back to include new remote, bill was $1,300. Worth every penny.

Our Indy Sports Show in Feb was nuts. Ranger dealers had a delivery wait in new boats sold min. 8 months delivery time. Didn’t stop them from selling Rangers 80 to 100 K. As they took orders for a minimum of a dozen or more. People first weekend bought out all electronics from exhibitors first weekend as a dozen Mega Lives sold out by first Sat afternoon. I saw guys packing 100lb boxed trolling motors thru packed crowds….no way would I pack a trolling motor thru jam packed crowds of our 650,000 square. ft. show with some people having to park a mile away. Our dozen boat dealers sold more than 500:boats and our 11 RV dealers sold at least more than that with a couple of dealers cracking 100 units sold during the 8 day show. In our Hunting Expo,,one hunting blind dealer had one order sold 40,000.00 worth of huniting blinds to one person. I have never ever seen so much money spent in a show before. If you find what your looking for,,,all I can say is buy it at the price you find it.
