it was a hematoma , it went down after a few hours and left a light bruise , didn't hurt by the next day at all .....
but it sure did HURT that day for a few hours .....
As I remember , it was similar to hitting a guy in the face with a really solid left hook on the temple bone pain wise when it first happened , the good news knews though was it didn't hurt for weeks on end and whats her name seemed to be all good as well and we left the scene of the fight with no body in that beat down hurt feelings mode either .....
it was for sure a one punch fight .....

Ah, the foibles of youth, ketch. These days an incident like that would most likely be followed by gun smoke. A lot of REAL crazy folks out there.

Glad it turned out to be a temporary injury. That does look like a whole lot of pain though.

I also am very thankful that you healed quickly my friend. Now you have to go out and teach that bass some manners and introduce that bass to Lake Crisco and some hot sauce.
