this is the actual truth , those that say some kind of technology changes the fish habits are just trying to convince the world that fish behavior has been altered somehow thru the intro of advanced equipment .
been out there many times post front and seen it in person with lots of different technology including forward facing sonar , you will never find the magic silver bullet to kill the post front were wolf .....

weird. Tell those post front fish that I had to catch in a different location, different color jig, or different location that they don't count then since they're not part of the actual truth

So you're saying that the other's like NIMROD, DrNip, and myself that have found fishing doesn't suck as bad as we used to think it did after a front, before we got the tech to assist in refining things, aren't seeing the truth? The fish that we catch, that we likely did have to work harder to relocate, and figure out the new pattern on, are fake truths and not real truths? Got it

It really doesn’t matter. People are entitled to their own opinions. I’ve had tough days fishing pre and post front as well as blue bird sky and just about every other excuse I can think of why I couldn’t catch them. Should’ve got minnows too! Just go fish.

you are so correct , it really doesn't matter and it is just one of those things , seen days myself where others were hammering and I wasn't .
the cause is typically due to you are not on cooperative fish and then of course there is that thing where about none of them are cooperative as well .
no worries , it bother me none one way or the other if someone takes my advice or not . the ways I ketch crappie are often quite different than the "tried and true " methods that more serious crappie anglers adhere too ...

One thing is for sure and that is that crappie eating habits change by the conditions, sometimes by the hour.Yesterdays trip had several schools of crappie go under my prehistoric electronics and to get one to take a jig was very difficult and nearly inpersevible when one did put it in thier months. Then less than an hour later one knocked two feet of slack in the line on a hit that had to come from several feet away.

crappie are very unpredictable and they can be there in herds and totally refuse to cooperate on any level .
I once "chummed" them passer by fish you speak of , worked pretty well , every time a school passed I diced up some shad beside the boat ,the chum would hold them just long enough to ketch 1 or 2 before they moved again.
they were patrolling a dam and would show up for a minute or so and then move on following the bait shoals.
of course I was running old school electronics , but it wasn't tough to see what was going on and we were struggling to get bit .
we had cast netted some shad and they EVEN refused them ,but a jig in the chum slick worked out quite well ....
