Do know he gets lots of "tips" from the actual local pro fellas on the downlow inside scoop type a thing, to keep him on fish basically is what I can see pretty clearly .
Don't really know him in person , but he is liked in the crappie community locally . Likes to give his 2.1 cents if a novice asks a question on various social media platforms .
So yesterday the question on a crappie page from one who apparently knows very little about crappie ketchn was this ......
"What will this 50 degree drop in temperature in less than 12 hours with this reverse wind and hard frontal push do to the bite "?
    yeppers here it comes .....
In what appears to be a very well educated response he goes on to say this about that ....
" No worries it shouldn't change the bite much this fast , the water didn't have time to get colder yet " !
Of course he showed his hand to anyone that does have a clue , but in the end imagine all those that think that actually might be the case .

KABOOM is the word for sure
p.s. the moral of this story is this , careful with what you think is the truth and who you take advice from on the social media how to ketch a crappie feeds ....
    tip of the week ....
I used to think it could shut down the bite , It may push them down but put it in their face and still bite pretty good here .

I thought that a few hundred times myself , but to this day I found it ain't likely most of the time
case in point was my injury visit at 2 honey holes , thought may as well try as I passed by , the bite was good "BEFORE" it came in .....
alas , only a bass , now mind you this my friend , they probably would bite if I knew where they went or had a rig to go find them , but in this case it wasn't meant to be .
we all know they eat constantly , but hard fronts tend to scatter early spring fish regularly and make it difficult to get on em more often than not .
it really comes down to this , advice and what the odds might be to find them stacked up and biting , a typical novice has little chance to hammer w/o the right advice .

I used to think it would shut them down to, and to a degree, it might/can/does, but more often than not, they're just not where they were yesterday and/or don't want to see the same thing they saw yesterday presented the same way it was "yesterday", before the cold. More often than not, SOMEONE will catch them, and that someone is the one that changed up what they were doing today, from what they were doing before the front.
