Here's the thing. He's not wrong. One thing Livescope and other forward facing/live sonar has shown is they usually DO bite, they just aren't usually where they were yesterday. People fish memories and yesterday's fish. I used to think it would shut them down to, and to a degree, it might/can/does, but more often than not, they're just not where they were yesterday and/or don't want to see the same thing they saw yesterday presented the same way it was "yesterday", before the cold. More often than not, SOMEONE will catch them, and that someone is the one that changed up what they were doing today, from what they were doing before the front.

That is one thing I noticed from Sunday's fishing trip, I looked in the shallow water areas they should have been in due to the water being 66 degrees. I ended up finding them going over the channel right in front of a spillway. The water was 26 ft deep and the crappie were 12-14 feet down.

I long ago quit trying to figure fronts and such. I use the saying “ If you don’t go you won’t know”.

I'm sure it will effect some stages of fish more than others. Pretty sure I won't be there to know....brrr...but I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep eating....rofl

I'm going to do my best to give it a shot this weekend. If I don't get a chance this weekend it may be a while because I have to have shoulder surgery and have to figure out a way to bait my hook and take a fish off one handed.
