That sounds like the escapades of a very young 76 year old. Congrats, I'm glad your efforts were well rewarded.

I would be interested in the crappie candy also. It is nice to know that there is hope for us that is getting older in this life.

So I shut the TV off got my ice fishing gear gathered up. It stays pretty much ready. I got the snowmobile loaded up and headed out. Had to stop for sum of that 4 buck gas. I got to the unload spot and did the unload upload thing. I took a freshly groomed snowmobile trail for 4 miles. Got to the spot and no one had been there in a few days. No tracks in the snow. The ice is about 2 ft thick. I drilled a hole dropped a jig and bam fish in. I did that drop fish on thing about 25 times. I brought home I think 16. I cleaned them and they will become what I like to call Crappie Candy. Smoked fillets.
