Not necessarily fishing related but I don’t brag about truck or any other mechanical item. I think it is bad luck for sure.

Was told by an old timer to always look at the cows in the field, if they are laying down the fish aren't biting and the deer aren't moving. It seems to work for deer but I haven't made up my mind for crappie. Alot of truth in what some tell you and I have no idea how they figured that out. I guess without all the necessities we need today they were more observant. Who knows.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.SpeckledSlab LIKED above post
I heard a rumor that Garmin was working on Technology to assist with this theory. It connects to your fish finder and lets you see through the trees to see if cows in the local area are lying or standing. They're calling it "Cowscope" and will revolutionize the fishing industry!

This is just great guys. Now you all got me waiting to fill the livewell until after I catch a fish. Flop Flop. BTW- doesn’t seem to matter so maybe I can eventually extract myself from this one.
Maybe they will bite this one……
To make a rain cloud go around you turn axe blade up on the ground. If it’s a thunderstorm forget the superstition and get to cover. In Florida it’s a good idea to have rain gear with you also, just in case the rain cloud hasn’t heard about the superstition. lol
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
I have thrown the first fish back many times. Sometimes I don’t if I’m fish hungry for my family, but if I’m just playin and not taking any of it seriously….I may or may not keep one. I once caught a one eyed black male crappie. Looked like someone took a little ice cream scoop and dipped his eyeball right out of his head. Had healed over with green skin. Shoulda took a picture, but I remember telling that fish “You had a hard life so I won’t make it any harder on ya” and I pitched him back. Woulda been an interesting picture for sure.
Been catching a lot lately that have some healed up body damage.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
