"Fish experts say the catch is as rare as winning the lottery—and a Minnesota angler hit the jackpot when he was reeling in a golden crappie.

That’s fisherman Rick Konakowitz who says he was using a “shiny devil” lure when a once in a lifetime fish hit his line."

I've seen pics of a couple of those. They sure are pretty. Look good swimming in an aquarium.

Looks awesome. I wonder if any fish farms have fingerlings?

I saw some one on the internet just commit his life to ketchn one after he saw that one
literally says he is going to hit every lake that has ever produced one in his quest
and to top it all off , I have seen several, but never one over 8 or 9 inches long
it is likely so rare because of its come and get me coloration ....
most highly off colorations have low survival rates out in the wild

If anyone can catch one, Ketch, it will be you. Consider it a quest!

As much $ as I spend on chasing crappie they should all be made of gold.
