I found a gen 1 helix 10” Si for 650 a while back. Sure it’s not as clear as the mega but for the price difference it does plenty good enough for me .

On a helix 7 is the image quality clearer on a Mega DI only VS a Mega SI/DI unit?
After I buy a new TM a 7" will be all I can afford.

None of the generations of HELIX 7 SI have a dedicated DI piezo ... the DI image is computer generated from the data received by the SI piezoes and “rendered” in a DI image format ...
All HELIX DI units do indeed have a dedicated DI piezo ...
Therefore HELIX 7 DI units will have better DI than HELIX 7 SI/DI units ...
