I like 14 ft personally. Easier for me to manage alone.

14 or 16 . like bait casters due to when you get fish to the boat you can release spool and bring rod straight up to put fish close to net . jmo .

I use 14 footers on my Tracker Pro Crappie 175,they work well and are easy to transport on Driftmaster rod saver rack.

OK, I've decided to go with the 14 ers, now the question is, Jenko or BnM? What say you? I did have a BnM 12' rod break on my last week while in Astor.. That kind of gave me a bad feeling about those, but I will take into consideration your opinions..

I am a BnM guy. Have you contacted BnM about your broken rod? They have great customer service.

No, I assumed they would make a big deal out of it! $15 for a tip
Is not a big thing. But thanks for the info!

I would tell everybody 16' rods. Cause most start with shorter poles and end up with 16' poles

16ft Jenko Spider trolls. I absolutely love them tough as nails, and can boat swing 2lb fish with ease once you get the hang of stripping line. I hardly ever use a net anymore. Grizzly jig should have them on sale starting tomorrow. You won’t regret the 16s. When the fish are spooky the extra 2 ft makes a difference. Just last week me and a buddy were fishing. He and his brother was in his boat, me in mine. He had 14s, me 16s. We were fishing the same baits, speed, and location. I limited in 3 hours, he fished 7 hours and finished with 16 fish.
