    Did they use jigs, minnows or combination? Maybe buy a 14 foot jon boat with their winnings. Maybe they put them in a wire basket hung over the side. Good for them.

    That goes to show you that old school still works pretty cool I thought. I read yesterday that they was using fiberglass telescopic poles with no reels and that they said that was the first time they've been fishing without beer.

    I still use a wire basket. Neither of my boats have live wells.

    I use a basket with a pool noodle around the opening to make it float. Cheap and effective.
