If you’re in Louisiana and looking for a custom boat I would look into Gator Trax. Reputable brand that is widely known but I’ve never heard of Hanko.

I'm looking at changing directions on my next boat. I have a War Eagle ordered but I am thinking about going with a Hanko. Anybody have any experience with them?

Gator Trax was one of the first groups I talked to. Apparently according to him all other manufacturers only build boats suitable for pond fishing. I got so tired of that guy running everybody else's boats down. I left him

They seem to be very nice…..and expensive, but you can get what you want. There are several others custom boat makers in that area. I considered it but chose something else.
Maybe they will bite this one……
I know nothing of hanky but I’m with you about not talking with folks using negative sales techniques. If your product isn’t better, shut up!

Funny thing is the reason I am considering them is to get what I want....and that's to remove all the unnecessary stuff on other boats...that I feel isn't neccasary and added weight.

I've ran a few of the commercial boats that Hanko built and they were built like a TANK and durable. I like his option of having any boat built to your specification. Another builder in that area is Skully Boats. Both are life time boats.

Alweld will build what you want to your needs.
I went thru a couple sea arc boats before having them custom built by Alweld.
24 footer was the last one I had them build.
Great bunch of guys to deal with.

Hanko built in Berwick La. Lifetime boat. Heavy. Needs lot of horsepower. But you will be able to keep it forever. Unless they have changed they are hand built and will not be as smooth looking as a factory rolled boat.
