Those aren’t that hard to make and Mudhole will have everything you need and instructions too. YouTube has videos you can watch to see if you think you might be able to do it or not. I’ve done a few and it isn’t hard but I’ve never done a Tennessee handle. I get their catalog and saw the rings in it so the parts are definitely there. Hope you find what you need.

Charlie Brewer Slider Co. has been selling a rod like that for many years. Check their web site. Sliderfishing.com

Norseman makes several models with Tennessee grips. I recently ordered a 6' ESP from Grizzly for about 60$ it is an UL carbon rod. I absolutely love this rod.

ESP™ High-Performance Ultra Light Rods – Norsemen Outdoors

    They range from 5ft-12ft

Norseman was the one that jumped out at me as well. They have a number of fans here on CC.com, in addition to the post above. I’m sure a few will chime in.

According to CB, a Tennessee handle uses electricians tape, not rings, to hold the reel in place.

    Both have their advantages.

Yes, it has been mentioned here before and I can’t remember the name, but it is an electrical tape that doesn’t gum up the handle and that the military ops people use it. Supposed to be very good.

Yeah, I've been touting ESP (Norsemen Outdoors) rods for years. I use the 6'6" PowerLite for most of my casting (and the 6' version has the same length blank in front of the handle, it just doesn't have the 6" extended handle).
But these are not cork handles, they're graphite handles with the reel retainer rings. I've used the rings alone & with elec. tape added on top at different times, but currently I have no tape on there. Don't remember what reel I used to have on it that required tape because the "feet" were "thick", but the Mitchell 308x that's on there now doesn't require any tape.

The rods are 40ton High Modulus Graphite (not carbon) ... have micro guides, very fast action tips, and metallic rings around the blank inside the graphite handle for greater sensitivity (what they call Vibration Amplification Technology).

(*note -- Grizzly Jig sells them cheaper than Norsemen Outdoors)
Thanks MCG1 thanked you for this post
