Welcome from the Hoosier state. Best advice I can give you is read all posts. You will learn alot from this site. From equipment to types of fishing to try. Order you some slab sauce to put on those tube jigs you bought you wont be disappointed.

Welcome from E. Tennessee. I just recently became active again myself. I agree with Jamesdean. An inexpensive but good rod and reel catch crappie. Like many others I am a fan off Garland baby shad. But everyone will have a favorite and with good reason. Finding the little devils and getting them to bite is what is the most fun for me. Have fun up there Ask these guys anything you have questions on and help will be given.
