Like Navin Johnson in “The Jerk” yelling “The new phone book is here!” I was excited when Vicki came in from the mailbox with a box addressed to Dougy Dux. No doubt who the box is from.

Laying here with ice pack and sling, reading a book, I told Vicki this is the first calendar I won’t have a picture in. While she helped me thumb thru it, Sheeezam!, there it was. Month of May.

I have a suspect of who might be the guilty party who sent it it?

My recovery is just starting, and from the sound of the surgical report, it’s going to be a long one. My shoulder was a mess. The Dr was quoted saying his shoulder hurt after working on mine!

My wife is a Saint! Those of you who know us both will agree since this is my 7th major surgery in 4 years. She has put up with a bunch! Admittedly, she is a better driver now after hauling me around. I think there might have been some sarcasm when she said that.
