Yep I did the drive. Parents are past about 3.25 hours have passed but run see them couple days before Christmas every year. GF flew in for the holidays, wanted to see where I lived during life. We did a tour of eastern NC Visited friends in Lake Waccamaw and Tabor City, New Bern got to yacking so much with a old buddy we both are in the Dirty South Mud Slingers with the side by sides we ended up staying came back yesterday. Topped it off with the neighbors coming over enjoying a fire, drinks, and a few laughs.

Marry Christmas from Eastern NC to everyone.

I ate Tex mex and authentic mexican food for right at 48 straight as I am typing this response and am a balloon right now.
consumed zero alcoholic beverages though and that is a first for me and might get to chase fish tomorrow .
managed to hold my grandson though and hug a few family members and even got to see my one last living aunt and niece.
so although the crappie did not get held or hugged , it was in every sense of the words ..."all good" !
did I mention we stopped in at a spot to do some exploration in our travels and heard tell it was loaded with monster coppernose .....
