    Default Back up camera

It guess this is OT unless you are backing up to a boat trailer. My son got me one for my birthday. They are inexpensive and easy to install. I used posi-tap connectors to make it easier to connect the wires. Really works great. You can zero in on the hitch first try. Lower it and off you go. Why didn't they make these many years ago? I highly recommend them.

I installed one in my 2006 Durango in 2019. It's has a wireless connection to the rear camera. The display is in the form of a replacement rear view mirror that plugs in to the 12v socket. Sometimes the picture gets a little static but most of the time it's very clear. I picked it up in amazon for $93 on a lightning deal. It was originally $141. It's $160 now. Makes it so much quicker to line up the trailer to my hitch. No more in and out of the vehicle multiple times to check alignment.

I am thinking about led light pods mounted by the frame of the receiver hitch angled oit slightly. To light up those dark ramps when launching before daylight

My 07 Tacoma came with one the size of a postage stamp in the corner of the review mirror. The Tacoma I have now has one the size of a tablet. Either way. So much better than backing up until you thought it was close then get out and check how much more in what direction. I used to be pretty good at it. Now without the camera I would be lost

Have em too and they are great. I find they don’t help unexperienced folks ar the ramps though.. makes it worse for them IMO.

I installed one on my 2010 silverado. Makes hooking up to trailers a breeze.

I've got one on my 2019 RAM. It sure has cut down on me yelling at my wife for pointing the wrong direction while I'm backing up to the trailer.
