have no clue ,some boats I ride in they work perfect, others like ez's drive me nuts trying to decode what way it is pointing
Have used LiveScope for quite awhile now and reasonably aware of best settings. Although I do not use it much it bugs me that the direction icon shows a reversed direction. I know it is pointing in a specific direction and I am spot locked but icon shows 180° out. I did recalibrate the compass setting (twice) to no avail. What say you? Thanks in advanced.

I have a lowrance Point 1 heading sensor and my icon is correct. You need a heading sensor for the icon to show the right direction. As per this post on the bbcentral Garmin forum Calibration question
I tried to calibrate my compass on Saturday. I ended up with a compass rose in the top right corner instead of a boat icon. North shows up and unless I had my boat pointed N and live scope pointed forward it was off when I fooled with it. Does anyone else not have the boat icon?
I thought the boat icon in the upper right corner was only present when you had Perspective Mode downloaded ??
