Default Livescope issue - view bounces up and down....video

My livescope just started doing this. The forward view bounces. Like it can't figure out the orientation of the transducer. Very strange. I checked for weeds on the ducer, wiped it off, changed it position slightly, and it continued. I quit fishing. Then the next day, it's ok for a while, and then starts doing it again. Nothing helped. I used it in perspective mode for a while, and the little boat in the top right which shows the direction of the beam, bounced up and down. It's all acting real weird. Here's a video.

Do you typically run it in auto for depth and it has just started doing that?

Yeah I usually don’t use auto. If you manually set depth does it still do it?

Try this. Or reset to factory specs and start adjusting from there. Lots of Facebook discussions on this topic. Hope it helps!

I always use auto. Always have. I’ll try manual and see. But I think it’s an issue with the position sensor. These transducers switch modes from down to front to perspective views all automatically.

Can’t speak from experience but see it often on FB groups. I’ve read calibrate compass or the AHRS.

I do think compass calibration is worth a try.
