Default Cleaning in the kitchen sink?

Since joining I have seen some posts of fish in stainless steel sinks. Do you guys clean them there? If so, how do you get rid of the mess and clean up?

I’ve tried it in the garage and found scales everywhere. I also had to use Pinesol to change the smell.

I'm not sure there is an easy answer but I have wondered the same thing.
My wife loves to fish but cleaning them in the kitchen is no no.

I don't clean in the house. I also don't scale the fish I fillet, run the knife between the fillet and the skin, then cut the ribs out. The scales stay on the skin

I wasn’t scaling mine. The scales were from my electric knife making the traditional cuts down behind the gills and along the backbone to the tail. I only did this once then it was back to the driveway as usual. I have a folding table and always used it on the lake when we used to camp a lot.

I have a stainless table and a rapala cutting board that completely covers it. I clean in my shop and then take the cutting board outside and rinse and wash it off. Rarely is there anything on the table and the few scales aren’t a problem.

My truck tailgate is fair game. But not much gets on the truck. Used the use a plastic 55 gallon drum with a 3 x 3 foot piece of plywood on top. It was perfect in height for me

Like Jack, I clean on the tailgate of my truck. I dispose of the carcasses in one of my ponds. Turtles gotta eat too.

The remains go into an ice bag from the trip. Then into the garbage can to be picked up. Depending on how close to Monday pickup it is. Sometimes they get frozen then put out so the trash man can get them gone
