I need to get rid of about 40-50 rods.
Might go to total Lithium batteries (4)
Only problem with buying lithium is that they will probably out live me. Lol

Wait there is a time to upgrade?
Every boat I have ever owned has been in a constant state of being upgraded from the time I got it until the time I decided I wanted a different boat . My upgrade will be to find a 20 foot center console aluminum boat

Off season? Didn't know there was one! My favorite time to fish, winter, is just getting started.

Bass pro just put the Lowrance Carbons on sale. 799 with the three way transducers. Know live has replaced them but will be a lot of years they will work on them and thats a good price for a 800/1380 resolution unit and the three way transducer. Been fishing with a lady friend she has live scopes on her boat kept seeing the resolution better on the HDS and Carbon units on you tube videos looked the FS up its 400/800 so bought the carbon. Order the black box and transducer for the active target, excited to get that mounted and going to join you all.
We have a place called Motortech Suffolk VA master at working on trolling motors that boy is the best there is at moding them and fixing them but didn't know they started selling electronics.
With the lowrance carbon you can actually install the softwear and run the live scope on the Carbon unit. They will do that for you.
Bought a used trolling motor from him yesterday, 30 pound motor, $100 bucks GF paying me back thats my Christmas present shes giving me , mounting that on the back of the 16 ft pan fish I have will be fixed , rig a foot switch to the front , Right handed so fish to the left of the boat set it where that will keep me out the trees and pull the rear around touch of a button.

What yall think about a woman that won't let a guy go ahead and mouth the motor till after Christmas. Yes shes putting a bow on it .lol

Had rod holders but for 6 to 7 footers got to rethink for these 12s. Boat is light can go about anywhere, just solving some issues I have wanted to tinker with before I retired.

Build some spider rigs out of PVC, enjoy customizing and doing it the cheap way. Will post when I get it all completed.
Coastal Carolina enjoying the peaceful easy way of life.
