Default Grenada vs Toledo Bend. Vacation???

So Genada or Toledo Bend?? Ready to take me a hard earned vacation the week between Christmas and New Years. Got a boat, got time off, got a little money, gots Livescope. Both about 5 or 6 hours from my house. But never fished either. Which one should I go fish??

Water is low at Grenada....I don't think you can launch. They have a thread on the Mississippi board about it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I went to a seminar at the Crappie Expo and the folks were talking about the size of the crappie in Grenada. Toledo Bend may be better for weather that week. You should be in good crappie water with either.

Sounds like a great vacation either way. Catch lots. Share pics if you can. Good luck.

I’ve never fished Grenada but with it being so low you might have trouble getting around. But the fish should be more concentrated.
    Like mentioned, check launch access.
Personally, I would go to Toledo for 3 reasons
    1) I’ve fished it before
2 ) it has more launch and lodging options.
    3) It has more places to get away from the crowd

Never fish Grenada but have fished Toledo Bend several times, but not my favorite place to fish. But you said you had a livescope so you should be good, find some brush piles in 18 to 25 feet of water and fish there, that seems to be where people generally catch at Toledo. Good luck wherever you decide to go.

Toledo Bend is not a match for Grenada. Lake of the Pines or Fork would be better options IMHO.
