    Of course he cut his teeth on this type of pole with an original one from Japan that he had custom made...if I remember right his 30 foot one cost 300 bucks....which by the way was on the cheaper side of those rods used in Japan which can go up to 700 bucks or more. It was made from carbon fiber which costs more than graphite....and is lighter. But of course crappie fisherman are not going to pay that for a fishing rod so along comes BnM with this model. I can't seem to find it anywhere but would love to know the weight of the Little Mighty.

    Yep that’s true…a Daiwa Air Master at 32 feet weighs 10 ounces but the cost is right at 1100 bucks…..best to add a little more fiberglass and bring down the cost…..LOL. This post has gotten me interested in revisiting Tenkara rods again though.
