Default Linder's "the spot on the spot"

The best advice I ever stored away from a tv fishing show was the Linder's teachings about finding "the spot on the spot. All my trips lately have proven how valid that info is. I anchored on a promising rock structure with scattered fish and caught a few small bluegill and crappie. Had to re-anchor a few times to get them dialed in but then it was pretty steady. Real nice grade of fish for my reservoir. White Trout Magnet and Gulp Minnows were working and that's all I tried. The fish were holding from 21'-35'. Fished 3 hours and left them biting to come in and get them filleted and the fish house drained before dark and freezing. I'm liking this late in the year fishing now that I don't hunt as much.

I don’t hunt much anymore either. guess I would rather catch fish than sit in a tree. I do miss dove hunting though.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Thank you for the report and information. I'll keep that trick filed away for future use.

I still like having the meat in the freezer but my hips and knees have slowed me way down.

What’s with this getting older stuff and pain anyway? I’m starting to wakeup these days feeling like I’ve been run over by a runaway train….getting old hurts…
