    Default A quick reminder

Just trying to be helpful. Don’t forget to check your tire pressure. It’s getting colder here now causing tire pressures to fall as the air contracts. Low pressure can cause a blowout on even a good tire, which can possibly mangle a fender if it comes apart.

That will be the next big thing. Trailer tire sensors that interface with the tow vehicle and warn of low tire pressure

If possible, I put nitrogen in my tires when it turns colder.

I had to do the wife’s Grand Cherokee, the sensors showed a 6 lb drop after the cold arrived. Aired them up an we are GTG!

Might want to have that tire checked out Ketchn. I had one slowly slowly leaking too and took to be checked and ended up being a nail in it. Pulled nail out and patched tire now no more leaking.

Next? I’ve had that for 5 years and it’s being included on new trucks now.

Your dealer appreciates the extra money. There is no benefit to nitrogen in tires except to dealers making extra money from people who don’t understand physics.

I think it's worth it. YMMV

Besides, I'm a fly fisherman. Money means nothing to me.
