Yep even big Crappie eat them babies . It is a dog eat dog in the water world . I have seen Crappie eat young fish like, Crappie, Drum , Shad , Yellow Bass , Bluegill , Sunfish . Sometimes found in their stomach . A couple times hung in their mouth floating where their appitate was bigger than their mouth . When Shad not plentiful they will eat just about anything that moves or try .

Yes, the game wardens love to see baby crappie used for bass bait. They love the very big tickets they get to write.

Actually the gm on Joe Pool does not seem that bad. He caught three people fishing without a license on the slip next to mine last week. He released the fish they had caught and verbally warned them to get a fishing license. He told them if he caught them fishing without a license again they would get a ticket and he would seize all their fishing equipment.

THIS here is the problem my friend , them he ketched is just EXACTLY like them that is stealing stuff from YOU , them there were stealing from the state and yours and my natural resources we pay dues to enjoy .......
He should a cuffed em , taken them and the fish downtown and wrote about a million dollars worth of tickets !
Confiscated their vehicles and equipment and wrote more tickets to everyone with them for conspiracy !!!
That just about burns ME UP , now the WORD out there amongst them of that there break the rules and steal stuff crowd is like this ....they be passing around the ole "don't worry , ya only gunna get a warning , know big deal ,no tickets or jail".....
would lay money on them not even going and getting lic. afterwards either ...
