When they get too close I merely start cleaning my Glock.

Drove over a bridge on bright, unseasonably warm January day and the boats were lined up so close I think you could have walked a quarter mile down the river on boats without making a big jump.
Crappie were moving upriver, limits from everybody!
Depends on circumstance . Most cases 50' or more fishing brushpiles or trolling . Some will follow boats catching fish or pass by scanning your spot . Some springs windy conditions force everyone in a few protected coves and that can be expected . Each fall Crappie gather following Shad in community holes . I have had to leave to keep from getting hot when they start bumping my boat . Once two boats sandwhiched me in in a community hole . One guy asked me '' Hey what's that mean on your graph ? '' My responce was not nice " Your too ( censored ) close to my boat if you can read my electronics ! "
That is close
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have fished pretty close together fishing under the bridges at night. Probably 10 or 12 boats tied up under the bridges. Everyone was nice and respectful. Everyone was catching fish chatting and having a good time
