Default A minnow bite is the word

and from my corner there is the same old answer , sure sure bro whatever you say
some of my buds were spotted 2 days in a row sitting on one of my condo installations by a fellow who helped me place them condos .
so said minner dunking bud sends me a text and says thank you for setting them 2 condos over there by the reeds .
I replied you done been busted TWO days in a row sitting on top of my condos my friend !
we chatted a bit and he said they will only bite minnow for some reason .....
said he left with a big number of fish both visits using minners .....my spotter done told me they was dunking minners anyway so it wasn't a surprise to me he owned up to it .
well , I got the chance to go for a boat ride with the fella that helped me place them yesterday and to be sure it was a minnow bite just as stated ....
I opted for an imitation artificial minnow though and ,the fish got all confused and thought I was dunking real minners too ......
heck one of them fish got so confused by all of it , that it just threw itself sideways right onto said artificial minner too ....
water temp 69 at first light ,at 9 it was 75 and off to work I went , my bud needed 40 for his church fish fry and he had 18 from the day before and added our 23 from this trip and .......
KABOOM is the word yawl ....

The fall bite would be better here if all the rain would ease up. The water is so muddy now the crappie will need livescope to find the jigs

You're killin' me man. If we don't dry out I may be looking to move closer to a Texas based Brisket Joint. Love Texas BBQ! Great post.

P.S. my friends call me the "Foul Hook King" but it is Speckled Trout I foul hook all the time.

I guess there is no shame in “borrowing” someone else’s condo! Two days in a row! Unfortunately depending on your point of view there are always eyes watching!
