Just got a 12ft Crossover and paired with a Regal 2000, for a 'scoping rod". We'll see....

Yeah after I lost one of my Pro Anglers last month I was wanting to try something different. Was between ACC or Huckabee 6.5. Went with the Huckabee as I didn’t know about the microwave guide.

I own an ACC 10’ rear seat I got like 5-6 years ago and didn’t like it. It was too light of an action rod for me to dip with. Felt like I needed a net to help me get the crappie in the boat. I’m sure ACC 10’ has been revised since then not to mention different actions to choose from.

I own a 10' ACC crappie stik and I love it! I have always, and still am, a BnM man, BUT I have had several of the tip sections break on my 10 footers. So I decided I wanted something with a little more backbone to it. The ACC fit the bill in that department. I do still use and LOVE my BnM's also. The BnM's seem to be a bit lighter which makes it easier for long days of vertical jigging but the ACC has a better backbone IMO. I would say the sensitivity is about the same on both the BnMs and the ACC.

Its funny, the microwave guides don't bother me on the Leland Slab Slayer rod but they do on the ACC rod. I don't know why that is???

Current 10’ rods I use are Huckabee elite and Kevin Rogers. Love em both. Huckabee is more expensive but dang good rods and been using them 5-6 years now. Started with the meat dragga. Kevin Rogers is cheaper and little lighter but great rod too. Thinking about getting a Ozark 3lb fishing series rod next.

I have 2 ACC with the microwave guides, 6'6" and a 7'6", and they both seem to have more line twist. I have first version of the ACC 7'6" and I like it better
