Default Best boat for side by side seating for livescope

I'm realy interested in mainly retiring my stick steer and getting a cadilac 20'-22' boat aluminumn or fiberglass with the main objective being LOTS of front deck space to comfprtably fish 2 guys livescope sniping , handling rough water AKA wake boats and still have a low enough profile to handel well in the wind. I saw a post recently of a similar nature and a couple of names thrown out were sea ark, grizzly, express and even tracker. I don't think I want a center console but not ruling anything out at this point. Also obvioulsly lots of rod and tackel storage with all the bells and whistles. If I do this right this might be my forever boat so not looking to cut any corners. Would probaly want a 150-200 hp . It's going to be hard to give up the lazy side of fishing my stick steer that I never have to stand up accept to get out of the boat but for the guy in the back it's not as much fun watching me catch fish on my new 8616 which is AMAZing FYI. Got to be some guides or tournament guy's that have this dialed in. thanks, in advance, Scott

I'm sure that you will get a lot of opinions so I'll throw in my 2 cents. We have owned several glass and alum boats over the years and am currently fishing out of a War Eagle Black Hawk 2170. We fish several different methods including sniping using livescope.
Couldn't be happier with the boat. If I could change one thing it would be not to have had the flood light extension put on the bow. The reason we did this is my son is an avid duck hunter and requested that we do for him. What's a guy going to do - you love your kid! Since this is your forever boat I would offer these suggestions: We run a Susuki 115 on the boat and top end is approx 44 mph. I know that there are folks out there running 150 - 200hp but we chose to invest less in the motor and spend more in the electronics package. The trolling motor is mounted on a MinnKota quick release mounting plate so that we can change out the trolling motors easily. We run a MinnKota Terrova 80 lb thrust when long lining jigs, spider rigging double minnow rigs, pulling crank baits and a method the we call drop line fishing when we are targeting fish between 30 and 50 feet in the winter. We run this trolling motor with the remote and it eliminates a lot of the wires and cables that you can get caught on with a cable foot control. When we are using livescope for single poling we switch the trolling motor to a MinnKota Ultrex because the foot control has an old school feel and for us we don't oversteer like we do using the Terrova. It is also an 80 lb thrust equipped with down and side imaging. Running a Helix 12 on the console, a Helix 10 on the bow and a Garmin 8610 on the bow as well. The other cool feature that is also available on other alum boats as well is the integrated rail system. We are blessed to have a custom fabricator who is a close friend and we have made different fixtures that fit our needs. I know that this is a lot of info but happy to share years of experience with you and I'm sure others will as well. The only point I will restate is to consider saving some money on the boat motor and putting it into your electronics as they are what helps your fishing needs. You won't be giving up any safety benefits just a little speed to your favorite fishin hole (You won't spill your coffee on the way there!). Whatever you do I hope you enjoy your time on the water!!
